Debbie Swift, President of Steamboat Island Lions Club presented a check for $1000 from the Olympia Host Lions and Steamboat Lions to Beka Rudolph of Steamboat Community Preschool at the Griffin School Kindness Week assembly on Friday March 8.
The International Lions Clubs are known for service to the community and the world and exemplify kindness and generosity. We felt it was important for our students to see kindness in action.
The funds will be used to support programming at Steamboat Community Preschool preparing children to be learners and good citizens.
